Cancellation & Weather Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we want our cancellation policy to be fair to both our guests and the property.

Cancellations

30 days or more before check-in

Guests receive a 50% refund of the total reservation amount.

Less than 30 days before check-in

The reservation is non-refundable.

How to cancel

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to booking@nereidas.travel. The date we receive your email is the date used to apply the policy above.

Weather, hurricane season & road conditions

Nereidas sits in a beautiful and naturally secluded stretch of Baja California Sur. During hurricane and rainy season, conditions can change quickly, and heavy rain may temporarily affect local roads and access to the house.

The safety of our guests always comes first. We will let you know about any significant weather or access concern as soon as we are aware of it. If an official evacuation order, a government restriction, or a road closure makes the house inaccessible or unsafe to occupy, we will work with you to find a fair solution, which may include rescheduling your stay, a credit toward a future stay, or a refund where appropriate.

Rain, storms, hurricanes or tropical systems that do not result in an official evacuation order or an official closure of access to the area are not grounds for a refund.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance, especially for stays during hurricane season, to cover unexpected weather, flight cancellations, travel interruptions and other circumstances beyond our control.
